The BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Awards for 2018 are announced on Sunday 16th December 2018, and in a new twist the contenders for the award will be revealed on the night of the show for the very first time.
Now in its 65th year, Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan will present the show live.
Previous winners include Mo Farah, Andy Murray, Lewis Hamilton and for football, we've had Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Michael Owen and Gazza.
