Man City v Burnley
Burnley rarely enjoy a trip to the Etihad and they’ve been hit for five in each of their last three visits to this ground. The Clarets struggle to contain Pep’s men and although they kept it respectable last time out, they arrive here low on confidence.
They were criticised by their fans for their last lack of adventure against struggling Norwich and they aren’t likely to get on the scoresheet here. They’ve already conceded seven times on the road this season and they were lucky to only concede twice at Anfield.
City have scored an average of 3.33 goals per match at home this season and have already 5-0 here on two occasions. This could be incredibly one-sided.
4-0 Man City | 17/2
Arsenal v Crystal Palace
Palace’s away form has been questionable under Patrick Vieira and they’ve conceded eight times on the road so far. Although they’ve faced some tough trips to Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the London Stadium, this isn’t likely to be much easier. With an xGA of 1.87 and a concession of 2.67 goals per game, keeping a clean sheet appears to be an impossibility here.
Arsenal have significantly improved in recent weeks and the Gunners are now four unbeaten. Although they haven’t been firing on all cylinders in the final third, they did score three times against Spurs and they should be able to find a way through Palace’s flimsy defence.
