Atletico Madrid v Chelsea

Of all of the UCL round of 16 games, this contest is likely to be the grittiest. Although Diego Simeone has a few players missing for this one, he should still be able to set his side up to be hard to beat.
His team are superb at shutting up shop, and they should be able to keep Chelsea off the score-sheet here. Chelsea are harder to beat under Thomas Tuchel and they should play their part in a hugely competitive, but low-scoring 90 minutes.

Borussia M'Gladbach v Man City

The announcement that Marco Rose is switching to Borussia Dortmund in the summer has not been easy for the Gladbach players to take. The experienced coach has done an excellent job and guided his side to this stage of the UCL, however, their form has tailed off in recent weeks.
They are winless in four, and have scored just three goals during that time.

Man City are far from the ideal opponents, and will look to take advantage of the Bundesliga’s side’s woes.
