England Win

Over 2 Goals in the Match

Over 6 Corners in the Match

Over 7.5 Senegal Shots

Ismaila Sarr – Over 1.5 Shots

England have been handed a relatively winnable round of 16 clash with Senegal, however, Gareth Southgate will be fully aware that his side cannot underestimate the highest ranked African side. Nevertheless, England’s second half performance against Wales was sensational and if they are able to apply the same intensity and zip to this contest, then they are highly likely to progress. With Bukayo Saka, Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish waiting in the wings to return, Southgate has plenty of options ahead of this contest. England should be able to book their place in the quarter finals.
Senegal cannot be completely written off and their performances in Group A have been largely positive. Aliou Cisse’s side aren’t afraid to get forward and attack down the flanks and they should ask questions of the England defence. The Three Lions kept consecutive clean sheets in Group B, yet this will be a tougher task and the AFCON winners should be able to play their part in an entertaining 90 minutes.
There have been quite a few corners in Senegal matches so far including a total corner count of 12 against Qatar. England haven’t been quite as prolific, but they did win the corner count against Wales and their matches against the USA produced 10. A minimum of seven is to be expected.
Although they failed to find the net in their opener, Senegal have looked threatening throughout this tournament. They’ve averaged 14 shots across their last three matches (scoring five goals) and aren’t afraid to attack the opposition. England are usually in control of these games, but Senegal have been fired up throughout this tournament and will have a go. Likewise, Ismaila Sarr (alongside Famara Diedhiou) has looked rejuvenated throughout the tournament and the Watford winger is likely to be a threat throughout.
