The Czech Republic remain unbeaten in Group D and they deserved to take something from their match with Croatia on Friday afternoon. It was a fairly even game, however, the Czechs still manage to create an xG of 1.56 and fired in eight shots from close proximity. Although they are heavily reliant on Patrick Schick (he’s scored all three so far), they are not a side to be underestimated.

England lacked energy in their Friday night clash with Scotland. Gareth Southgate was criticised for his conservative tactics and captain Harry Kane looked tired and struggled to get involved. Although credit must go to Scotland for their set-up, England must simply perform far better here and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a number of changes to the starting XI.

Nevertheless, they must get at least a point from this one in order to ensure that they qualify for the next round of the tournament. On the plus side, England still haven’t conceded a goal and look fairly secure at the back. Czech Republic are hard to beat and if the Three Lions put in another laboured first-half performance, it could be another forgettable opening 45 minutes.
