Portugal put in a superb performance against Hungary in their opening Group F game. Fernando Santos’ men took their time to find a way through, however, their class eventually shone through.
Cristiano Ronaldo wrote himself into the record books once again and he was a constant threat throughout the 90 minutes. With three points already in the bag, this game isn’t a must-win for the Portuguese, however, they will fancy their chances of getting something on Saturday afternoon.

Germany missed several good chances and were guilty of being wasteful in front of goal against France. Joachim Low’s side aren’t the force of old, however, they still have ample quality in forward areas and they are unlikely to draw consecutive blanks. Nevertheless, they managed just a single shot on target and could struggle to find a way through an experienced Portuguese defence.
