Man City v Dortmund = Man City -1 Handicap

Man City always cruise through the group stage and they tend to do it with a bit of a swagger. Last season, they’ve scored 12 goals across their three home group games and they have already eased past Sevilla in this season’s group stage.

Dortmund haven’t been as effective going forward this season and have lost two of their last four Bundesliga matches. They have become more defensively secure, however, they have conceded three goals twice in their last four matches and City will look to take advantage of those defensive frailties. Last season, Dortmund lost two of their three UCL away games and were hammered in each of those contests.

Copenhagen v Sevilla = Both Teams to Score – Yes

Sevilla have endured a poor start to the campaign and they were easily swept aside by Man City last week. However, they picked up a much-needed victory at the weekend and should be able to build on that success. The visitors have a number of players returning from injury and their new signings are slowly beginning to acclimatise. That surely bodes well for this midweek fixture.

FC Copenhagen have been incredibly unpredictable this season and they were defeated again this weekend (by OB Odense). At home, they have won two and lost two so far and were easily swept aside by Dortmund last week. They should be able to notch here in front of their own fans, but they look incredibly vulnerable at the back.

Juventus v Benfica = Both Teams to Score – Yes

Juventus have been far from convincing so far this season and the Bianconeri were thwarted by VAR on Sunday night as they could only draw 2-2 with Salernitana. There was late drama in that contest and they may still be seething when they host Benfica in Turin on Wednesday night.
Juve are yet to lose this season, however, they’ve drawn far too many matches and have conceded in three of their last four outings.

Benfica eased to victory last time out against Maccabi Haifa and they will find this much tougher. They do tend to travel well though and have been very effective on the road domestically this season. They can find a way past the home defence here.
